    Sorry dude, it ain’t going to happen. The energy isn’t there to make it happen. Why do you think we have never gone back to the moon. We can’t even maintain our current infrastructure much less develop the means to achieve the solar system.

    if the energy and resources are not there it won’t happen. And it isn’t there. We can’t bypass the 2nd law of thermodynamics. It is not just a question of energy. The whole universe is filled with energy. It is a question of energy differential. If energy cannot move from a higher state to a lower state no work can be accomplished. A thermocouple with both polls at the same temperature will produce no electricity even though in absolute terms there is plenty of energy at each pole.

    A pretty and charming video and I wish it could be so but it isn’t and it won’t be.

      Humanity has proven to be intrepid explorers. The need to know what is out there compels us to explore space, from the two Voyager spacecraft to Cassini to New Horizons we’ve left Kansas, so to speak. The Orion mission to Mars will be a momentous milestone for humanity, and the recent success of Orion’s test flight has improved the odds.
